Privacy Policy for Mola

The short version

Mola is a tool that helps tattoo artists tile stencil designs across multiple A4 pages for printing. We built it to be as private as possible:

• Your images stay on your device. Uploads never leave your browser or app.
• We don't have accounts or logins. There's nothing to sign up for.
• We don't use analytics or tracking. We don't know who uses Mola or how often.
• We don't share anything with third parties.

The longer version

What information Mola collects

Images you upload: When you use Mola (web or app), the images you upload are processed entirely within your browser or on your device. They are not uploaded to any server. They are not stored by us. When you close the app or clear its data, the images are gone.

Purchase information (App Store and Google Play users): When you buy Mola through the App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google handles the transaction. We do not receive your name, email, or payment details. We only receive the fact that a purchase was made, in aggregate. Refer to Apple's and Google's privacy policies for how they handle purchase data.

Support requests: If you contact us for support and include your email address, we will keep the message until your issue is resolved. We do not use your email for marketing.

What we do with that information

We do not:

• Sell or share your data with third parties
• Use your data for advertising
• Track your usage
• Show ads
• Build profiles of you

Data retention

• Support emails: deleted after your issue is resolved (or within 6 months, whichever comes first).

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to any data we have about you (which is limited to what's described above).
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to processing — since we do very little processing, this rarely applies.

To exercise these rights, use the contact form (include your email so we can respond).

Third-party services we use

• Vercel: hosts our web app. Vercel does not have access to images you upload (those never leave your browser). Vercel's privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Apple App Store and Google Play: handle app downloads and payments. See their respective privacy policies for how they process this data.

Children

Mola is intended for adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has used Mola and given us their information (e.g. by emailing us), please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle data, we will update this page and note the change at the top.
